United Methodist Women

United Methodist Women is the largest denominational faith organization for women. The mission of its approximately 800,000 members is fostering spiritual growth, developing leaders and advocating for justice.

Nearly 100 women belong to First United Homosassa's UMW unit. Unit meetings are held monthly at the church.

First United Homosassa's UMW supports local and foreign mission projects. Missions are funded by an annual fall bazaar and proceeds from the Thrift Shop, located on the Church campus and operated by Church volunteers.

The United Methodist Women of First United Homosassa invite you to join one of their two operating Circles.

Serendipity Men

Serendipity Men, named after the study Bible they use, began in 2007. It is geared to small group study, discussion and conversation pertaining to how Bible scripture relates to our contemporary living. The group meets on Tuesdays at 2:45 pm in Room 114.

The Serendipity Men hold a pancake breakfast the second Saturday of each month from 8 am to 10 am in the Fellowship Hall. Since its inception, nearly 7,000 breakfasts have been served. The nearly $30,000 raised at these breakfasts, supports the group’s missionaries, The Sanctuary and Grace House, and Nature Coast Ministries, as well as various individual needs within the community.
