Wonderful Wednesday fellowship dinners are held at various dates throughout the year (usually the second Wednesday of the month) in the Fellowship Hall at 5:30pm. Dinners vary from potluck to catered events and during the Lenten season are typically soup. An informative, entertaining program follows dinner. We look forward to seeing you there. Just call us at 352-628-4083 to be added to our sign-up sheet. Our next Wonderful Wednesday will be on July 11th at 5:30pm and will be a picnic style potluck with hot dogs provided. Please bring a dish to pass that you would make if you were attending a "picnic". Our program for July will be a lovely church couple who have recently visited Cuba and will share their slides with us of their trip. The August Wonderful Wednesday is on August 8th at 5:30 and the church will be providing ham as the main entree. Please bring a side dish to pass. The program will be the Crime Prevention Unit and the programs all start at 6 pm.

Serendipity Men, named after the study Bible they use, began in 2007. It is geared to small group study, discussion and conversation pertaining to how Bible scripture relates to our contemporary living. The group meets on Tuesdays at 2:45 pm in Room 114.
The Serendipity Men hold a pancake breakfast the second Saturday of each month from 8 am to 10 am in the Fellowship Hall. Since its inception, nearly 9,900 breakfasts have been served. The nearly $40,000 raised at these breakfasts supports the group's missionaries, The Sanctuary and Grace House, and Nature Coast Ministries, as well as various individual needs within the community. They also have their "Man Cave" sale in October of each year where they bring in more funds to help the locally needy in our own community; a quote from John Wesley himself that our men's group take to heart:
Do all the good you can,
By all the means you can,
In all the ways you can,
In all the places you can,
At all the times you can,
To all the people you can,
As long as ever you can. ~ John Wesley
